Ahhh, how old is she and how did your first night go?
She is 18 months old. First night was a bit disturbed as my eldest was on last one to bed let the dogs out for a wee job but she forgot so Boo decided to do a poo and wee in the middle of the kitchen. Puds and her then both started woofing I think to let us know so I went in didn't switch the light on and stepped right in it !
Anyway cleared it up and they soon settled down !
There is still slight tension between Boo and Duds but they are warming to each other ! She is fine with Moose and loves the cats which is good !
Her recall is good pulls on the lead but we have been working on that one. She also thinks that the sofas are her so we have show her the floor or her bed is her space !
She is though a lovely girl 8)

Wow - she is gorgeous...How brave you are to take on another rescue girlie, lots of extra hard work me thinks? Mind you if I could, I probably would it is just the OH who would voice some serious objections were I to raise the subject - ha ha ha!! Good luck with her, early days still. It took almost 1 year for our Rufous (lab) to make eye contact, he must have really missed his previous home. Still he and Kala (lab) really get on well so all has turned out well cept for Rufous's dysplacia. Like looking after an old man sometimes.....Well Done for giving Betty Boo a nice loving home..She is one lucky girl.. :P

Poor Betty Boo has been in for an emergency spey as I saw the signs of developing Pyrometra. Luckily she has come out of the operation well is recovering really well !
Here are some more pictures :D
The black cat in this picture is one of two we have Coco and Cinammon and Betty loves them !

:( Poor Betty Boo - hope all is going well now and she is recovering. Must have been a bit of a shock but well spotted as it was dealt with very quickly. The three of them look so cosy and calm, even with the cats around. They are super - rather partial to choccy labs me thinks?? Now help me out - how do you walk all three if you are on your own? I have one on each side - which is just about ok now - is it really difficult?
Chocolategirlsmummy- 11-06-2008
Walking is on as have the two older ones on one side and Betty Boo on the other. I use a harness on BB but have bought a halti as need a little bit more control over her as she is a little skitty
I have got quite strong arms so really it is not a problem walking them all. If they see another dog and start to play up I just get them all to sit and shout no and it seems to work !

Poor lil girl - lucky you know what to look for - she looks such a fab calm girl with all the puddy cats!
My Bessie was fine with cats but Willow, well, not so!
Take my hat off to you walking 3 labs - tomorrow will be my first attempt at walking my 3 on my own - fortunately it is 33kg Willow and then the little boys who are only about 12 kg each! :?
