poor pepper - bad vets!!
Oh dear poor old pepper has managed to rip out one of her claws. Went to vets this morning and he said it's all gone and will never grow back. I've no idea when or how she even did it. Just noticed her limping yesterday. She's now on painkillers and antibiotics so hopefully in a week she'll be back to normal. Anyway now a warning, my vets ACCIDENTALLY charged me for 15 bottles of Metacam today a total of £119!!!!!! I paid the bill thinking it was a bit on the high side but assumed the antibiotics were pricey, thankfully I asked for an itemised receipt and checked it when I got home. I looked at it and realised they'd charged me £119 for a 10ml bottle of painkiller!!!!!!! Mind you it took 2 phone calls before they admitted they'd charged me for 15 bottles. Refund on it's way. So moral of this sorry tale........check what you're paying for. I will be from now on. Anita
