Kodi
Kodi is much better now having been on the recovery chicken and rice. Poohs are how they should be and am gradually getting Kodi back onto his puppy food. I have updated his diary blog and added more pictures. Its PJ that now seems to be a bit poorly. We think he has a cold as he is constantly sneezing plus he has awful hacking cough as though he has something stuck in throat. Oh well looks like it might be another trip to vets for PJ and he really hates the vets big time. he wont even walk near the door to the vets and needs a friendly push through the doorway. Debi xx

Oh dear sounds like kennel cough. I would try benelyn, non drowsie, 5ml in a syringe into this mouth/throat 4 times a day. It does help. You could also get some vet formula aloe juice to add to his water. I get mine from Forever living products. or Oscar pet food. Its just like our common cold, some vets will put them on antibiotics, some say let it pass naturally. It is usually worse when they get up or take exercise, so I would not be walking him at the moment. It is very contagious so no playing with any other dogs and Kodi might come down with it in about 10 days if not before. All good fun.... if its not one end its the other!! :wink: Tracy

Yes it does indeed sound like kennel cough. Vets have told me too that Benelyn is Ok to give dogs. Two of my dogs have had it - one was quite poorly with a hacking cough, the other had it very mildly. Hope he recovers v soon
