Hi - we're new!
Hi Everyone My name is Michelle and I have two dogs, a labrador of 9 months old called Amber (she's a fox red lab) and a little cross breed of 18 weeks, called Willow - we have no idea what Willow is, although there's definitely some collie and whippet muddled up in those genes! We rescued them both 2 months ago. After a few weeks of getting their confidence, they have now settled in wonderfully. I'm looking forward to chatting to others on here. :) Michelle

We rescued both dogs from Many Tears Rescue Centre, Wales. http://www.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/dogslookingforhomes.htm Amber had been in a puppy farm for 6 months but was not wanted for breeding as she has a pink nose! Willow was thrown out at 4 weeks old, taken to the local pound where she was going to be destroyed after 9 days, if no one wanted her. Thankfully, the owner of Many Tears goes there each week and brings dogs back as she has a 'no kill' policy at her rescue. How do you insert photos in here!?!?!?

Her poor left ear had been ripped almost clean off in the puppy farm and never stitched... later we found that the scar goes all the way down to her throat. she also has a bald patch on the left side of her head from scarring too..This picture was taken a week after we had her...playing with her first toy, Mr Rabbit O'Hare!

And this is Willow - the munchkin. Totally traumatised when we got her - didnt' even know how to play like a puppy. Here she is enjoying a new toy as well.

Sorry to hog the thread... but this is the girls, nearly 2 months on.. bigger, healthier, happier and pooped, from a very long walk! Can I see some of your lovely dogs too? :)
