Here is CoCo.... Sorry its taken me nearly a week to post this, but what a week really, CoCo came to us Monday, Lesley and I picked her up from the Kennel she had been boarded at since Saturday when she came off the boat.
We brought her home and she was as good as anything in the car, and we went and fetched my GSD Kai, and took him and her too the park right near my house.
The intial meeting was a few growls and grumbles and after a little while we brought her into the house.
Oh boy.... chaos descends in feline style... CoCo has never really had contact with them before and learnt the hard way, stick your nose in a Cats rear end that KNOWS they are the boss of the house and you get claws across your nosey :S poor girlie.
Anyway, Monday night she is asleep on the sofa and her nose is leeking green snot and her chest is making a horrible sound, never experiencing kennel cough I panic'd and we went to to vets at 1am.
Well poor CoCo has antibiotics, and has had a vitamin jab (She is painfully thin) Seems that she has not long had a litter of puppies, and the slight limp is the by-product of an untreated fractured leg.
So, apart from all that, she is well enough in herself and is enjoying life here so far, 3 square meals a day, and being pampered, she is a tart with my boy Kai, and being an old gent of 11 this is a bit of a culture shock as his Sister Ker slept for 23 hours a day if she could.
I will keep you all updated and here are them pics that all like to see :)

Oh wow...she's the spitting image of our Toffee dog even down to the white bit on her chest, they could easily be sisters. I'll have to try and post an updated pic of her for you to see. Unfortunately brain has gone to mush at the mo so might be a few days. Hope Coco feels better soon and I'm sure with all the love, attention and 3 meals a day she'll bounce back soon.
Take care and keep us posted.

All you need is love - a sofa and some grub - she'll soon have her paws firmly under your table - and in your heart already no doubt! - bless her, she looks very sorry for herself. Poor baby. Best of luck to you all - sounds like she has landed on her feet/paws!

Lots of love and best wishes to you and Coco, she looks a lovely girl.
Do you know what she's crossed with? that slightly long nose has me thinking something hound like, Weimie or maybe GSD...but it's so hard to tell. If you saw my Poppy you'd never guess she was a first cross lab x cocker.
Do you know much about her? how old is she?

aaah bless She is lovely, she looks very settled on your sofa :D

No idea about her history at all...
My friend (who has a german shorthaired Pointer) seems to think she is crossed with that and a choccy lab.
She is really has a place in our hearts, the vet says she is very young, and the littler of puppies she has recently had were possibly her first season. Wonder if we will see them on here soon enough :S
She isnt house trained but she is learning quick, Kai takes her out to the garden with him. She is getting the idea very quickly.
As with most dogs that has been treated like her, she is very food motivated and can reach the kitchen side  We not being used to it have turned around to get something and when you turn back CoCo is eating it, sandwiches, garlic bread to name a few. So we have all got used to not leaving anything un attended.
Her and Kai are still having the odd snap and grumble, she is besotted by him and he is like "Oh Pee off and let me sleep" but he has stopped ripping his fur out and he looks 100% happier unless CoCo is washing his ears :D
I will keep you updated as and when
Best wishes

she is absolutely lovely - give her a month of love, food, cuddles and you won't recognise her. Amber took about 3 weeks before she suddenly discovered she could 'wag' and when she started wagging, she would literally twist in half with excitement. The little angel probably thinks she's gone to heaven. :)
