Hello New to This Forum
Hello everyone, I'm Linda from Swindon. We have recently lost Tessa our beautiful Yellow Lab of 15 years, a rescue dog herself. The most swee-*test*-('") gentle girl, loved her own space and her food. The kitchen is so empty without her lying in the middle, and dishing up dinner is not the same, as she was also around hoping that you would drop something. We have 2 other dogs, Becky, our 14 year old Lab Cross, also a rescue dog, who still thinks she is a puppy. A very sensitive girl who loves to be close to you. Hates any loud noises, especially cutlery - at dinner time she goes on her back legs and opens the kitchen door to go and find her own quiet place!!! Oh yes, she can open doors. Bobby is the baby of the family. Our 8 year old Bichon Frise. The smallest, but the loudest! He is the one that taught the others to bark. A real character, not at all what I expected from a small dog. He loves nothing better than running through muddy puddles! and of course his cuddles with Mummy. Becky and Bobby are the best of friends and quite often cuddle up together in their bed. We are looking to get another Lab to join our family, we have filled out all the necessary documents, and just waiting to hear back and get our home/vet check. Will keep you posted how we get on. Regards, Linda, Terry, Becky & Bobby

Hi Linda - welcome to the site. So sorry to hear of your loss. We sadly lost our Black Lab Bess back in September and she was 15 1/2. One of the hardest days of my life, as you know. I hope you hear news of a new dog very soon! So lovely to offer a home to a dog that needs it soo much. We rescued our Willow through LRRSE 2 years ago. She is now 3 and is such a joy and a cheeky girl. Before we lost our Bess last year, we also bought a Cocker Spaniel and was having him trained up. (hubby uses the dogs for working) He wasn't due to come and live with us until December but Willow desperately missed Bess so the lil fella came to us early. I bet your Becky and Bobby miss Tessa too  Let us know how you get on and please post some piccies! Look forward to chatting with you more.

Hi there Linda. Have you heard anything about having a home check yet? I assume it is LRRSE (us) that you have applied to for a new labby? Keep us posted :D
