Good Boarding Kennels? Does anyone know of a good kennels within travelling distance of Portsmouth? There is one in Stubbington that we really like but am having problems finding another one for back up as ours is usually booked up well in advance which says it all! Looking for one where the dogs are walked and not just left to vegetate for a week or two...Would appreciate any assistance or details so we can go check them out before booking. To be honest some we have looked at are no better than a prison! Hopefully once Dec arrives, the dogs can come to France with us but until then we need a good kennel to rely on. Many thanks

Guess I have drawn a blank here - truth being we have looked at a couple more kennels in our area but would not even think of leaving my two there other than perhaps for one night!! Could not go away and rest easy so am now looking into the option of Pet Sitter arrangements. No wonder the number of kennels is dropping off..Commercially it must be so difficult to look after such creatures who need vast amounts of stimulation. Thanks everyone for taking the time to read this anyway.
